1Blocks were constructed according to the values of D’ and r2 calculated from our own data. SNPs with the minor allele frequency less than 5% were excluded in the haplotype construction. The definition of the LD blocks were based on the method of Gabriel et al. with confidence limits for strong LD (upper, 0.85; lower, 0.70) and the confidence interval maximums for strong recombination (upper, 0.85) and for strong LD (upper, at least 0.8) in informative comparisons.
2P values for haplotypes in the two blocks were permutated 10,000 times by Haploview 4.1 program.
