资源简介:
These are the quantitative data acquired from the recordings of Diaphorina citri (Hemiptera: Liviidae). These recordings are of slightly different length and the last event in each recording ends before the insect would have naturally ended the recording. The next tasks are to read all the files, and merge them into a single data set consisting only of the insect number, the waveform being performed, and the duration of that waveform. This is followed by checking the data for errors, and removing the artificially terminated events. This latter step is done by 1) finding the shortest recording and recording that time. 2) removing a couple of seconds from this time. 3) In all recordings find the behavior that begins before this time and ends after this time. 4) If the marked recording in step 3 is the last behavior in the file then delete it. 5) If the marked recording in step 3 is not the last behavior in the file then save it, but delete everything afterwards. While the programs that perform these steps will be included, the intermediate output from each step will not be provided. IMPORTANT: The number of each insect is the number at the end of each file name. The file name and insect number are found in the recordings above the zero-volt line. IMPORTANT: The files get renamed (manually) but the number of the insect is at the end of each name. From the laboratory notebook, each insect was identified as male or female and brown versus green, so FB37 is a female, brown psyllid and was the 37th insect recorded. Here is a table of behaviors and meanings Waveform NP is non-probing Waveform C probing Waveform G is xylem ingestion Waveform D is phloem contact Waveform E1 is salivation into the phloem Waveform E2 is phloem ingestion
