资源简介:
This dataset presents a detailed characterization of starch-based nanoscaffolds embedded with eco-friendly copper oxide nanoparticles (CuO NPs), synthesized using an aqueous extract of the marine brown alga Padina tetrastromatica. The green synthesis approach offers a sustainable and non-toxic alternative to conventional nanoparticle fabrication methods. To understand the physicochemical and morphological features of the developed nanoscaffolds, a suite of advanced analytical techniques was employed. UV–visible spectroscopy confirmed the formation of CuO nanoparticles through characteristic absorption peaks. FT-IR spectroscopy revealed the interaction between functional groups of the starch matrix and phytochemicals from P. tetrastromatica, highlighting their role in nanoparticle stabilization. X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis demonstrated the crystalline nature of the CuO NPs within the scaffold. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) provided insights into the surface topography and nanoparticle distribution, indicating uniform dispersion. Thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) evaluated the thermal stability of the nanoscaffolds, while dynamic light scattering (DLS) measured particle size distribution and colloidal stability. This dataset serves as a valuable resource for researchers focused on developing green nanomaterials for biomedical, environmental, or packaging applications, offering an eco-conscious platform for future innovations in sustainable nanotechnology.
