CAN HIERARCHICAL HUMAN IMPACTS SHAPE THE DISTRIBUTION OF RESOURCES IN A SUBTROPICAL FOREST THROUGH GEOSPATIAL ANALYSIS?

资源简介:
This dataset supports a study on the spatial distribution of vertebrate resource patches in relation to anthropogenic landscape elements (land-use matrix, structural barriers, and highways) in the Mixed Ombrophilous Forest (Araucaria Forest) of Santa Catarina, southern Brazil. The study area was partitioned into a regular 5 × 5 km grid; for each cell we quantified the proportion of resource-patch area and its distance to the matrix, barriers, and highways. This deposit provides the cell-level dataset, sampling grid, land-cover and distance rasters, and the R script used to process the data and fit the statistical models. Full methods and results are presented in the associated manuscript, currently submitted for peer-reviewed publication.
