Siegfried Maps

This dataset is a collection of Swiss national topographic maps published between 1870 and 1949, primarily intended for semantic segmentation tasks. Specifically, it contains 60 maps dating to approximately 1880, with a spatial resolution of 1.25 meters, and is accompanied by ground truth annotations for streams, wetlands, rivers and lakes. The dataset is split into a training set (40 maps), a validation set (10 maps) and a test set (10 maps). In terms of scale, maps for the Swiss Plains adopt a scale of 1:25000, while maps for the Swiss Alps adopt a scale of 1:50000. The task of this dataset is semantic segmentation of historical topographic maps.
