Grab Sediment Sampler, Gravity Core Sediment Sampler, and CHIRP Subbottom Seismic Image maps from the Long Island Sound Estuary assembled as part of the LIS:Sediments Data Compilation

This data set contains updated maps created from data acquired with a Van Veen Grab Sediment Sampler, LDEO GravityCore Sediment Sampler, and EdgeTech 3100, SB-424 CHIRP Subbottom Seismic system assembled as part of the LIS:Sediments data compilation (Chief Scientist: Dr. Frank Nitsche; Investigators: Dr. Frank Nitsche, Dr. Timothy Kenna, and Dr. Cecilia McHugh).
