At the beginning of browning, the browning flesh on the surface was named H2 (browning individuals) and NH2 (nonbrowning individuals). When flesh browning was serious, flesh with surface browning was named H3 (browning individuals) and NH3 (nonbrowning individuals). These samples were removed, immediately placed in liquid nitrogen for RNA-seq.We observed the changes of transcriptome in pear fruit at three time points after pear was cut to explore its browning mechanism. Our results revealed the metabolic pathway and potential candidate genes of pear fruit browning.
