Monthly Dataset of Land Surface Temperature in China region from 2000 to 2014

The Land Surface Temperature(LST) is one of the important parameters for studying the regional surface energy balance as well as resources and environment changes, and it is also an important base data in many research fields: meteorology, hydrology, zoology, agriculture, forestry, animalhusbandryandfishery etc. There is no monthly dataset of Land Surface Temperature with spatial resolution of 1km covering China region. In this paper, we produced a monthly dataset of Land Surface Temperature (MODLT1M_CN) covering china region. This dataset is derived from a MODIS standard product named MOD11A1 through a series of data processing, including tiles mosaic, mask clipping, data formatconversion, projection transformation, and numerical calculation. The MODLT1M_CN dataset contains four data components: monthly LST in the daytime, quality control flag of LST in the daytime, monthly LST in the nighttime and quality control flag of LST in the nighttime. The MODLT1M_CN dataset is provided for open access by all users, and more open datasets can also be accessed through Geospaital Data Cloud (www.gscloud.cn).

地表温度（Land Surface Temperature，简称LST）是研究区域地表能量平衡以及资源与环境变化的重要参数，亦为气象学、水文学、动物学、农业、林业、畜牧业及渔业等诸多研究领域的重要基础数据。目前尚无涵盖中国区域、空间分辨率为1km的月度地表温度数据集。本研究中，我们构建了覆盖中国区域的月度地表温度数据集（MODLT1M_CN）。该数据集通过MODIS标准产品MOD11A1的系列数据处理过程生成，包括瓦片镶嵌、掩膜裁剪、数据格式转换、投影变换及数值计算等步骤。MODLT1M_CN数据集包含四个数据组件：白天月度地表温度、白天地表温度质量控制标志、夜间月度地表温度及夜间地表温度质量控制标志。MODLT1M_CN数据集对公众开放获取，同时，更多开放数据集亦可通过地理空间数据云（www.gscloud.cn）获取。
