Expanding the transcriptomic toolbox in prokaryotes by Nanopore sequencing of RNA and cDNA molecules

In this study, we established a workflow to examine the transcriptomic landscape of the prokaryotic model organism Escherichia coli based on Nanopore sequencing. To this end, we compared three different approaches: long-read native RNA, native cDNA and PCR-cDNA.
