资源简介:

Here we present the data from model simulations using SOCOLv4 used for the data-analysis in the manuscript "Materials with smaller absorptivity reduce detrimental impacts of stratospheric aerosol injection on the hydrological cycle". Structure of data files: SSP2-4.5 and SSP5-8.5 are reference ensembles of a middle of the road pathway and a high emission pathway. G6{compound} are ensembles of Stratospheric Aerosol Injection experiments using different materials with the same GHG emissions as in SSP5-8.5. SAI is used in these experiments to bring surface temperatures down to SSP2-4.5. For each ensemble we present two zip_files, one containing monthly data and one containing annual data. Content of data files: Each ensemble has the following datasets: annual_vars_2080to2999_[name][number] (variables used to calculate differences between SAI and reference annually) monthly_vars_2080to2999_[name][number] (variables used to calculate differences between SAI and reference per season) annual_vars_full_[name][number] (variables used for assessing temporal development of simulations) name is the ensemble name number stands for the ensemble member. SAI ensembles also contain: monthly_AB_2080to2999_[name][number] annual_AB_full_[name][number] Which contains the total aerosol burden (baer) and the stratospheric aerosol burden (sbaer) in S/cm3 for G6sulfur, and the total aerosol burden (ca_baer) and stratospheric aerosol burden (ca_sbaer) in SP/cm3 for the solid particles (SPs)
