Illawarra drink-driver programme assessment, 1981

The success of a drink driver course conducted by the Illawarra Health Region for convicted drink-driving offenders was assessed by means of questionnaires completed by the participants. Four questionnaires were completed, two on course entry and two on course completion. The first dealt with drinking habits, initiation into drinking and expectations of the course as well as socio-demographic information. The second and third were identical and were used to measure changes in knowledge and awareness of alcohol and its effects resulting from the course. The final questionnaire provided respondents with an opportunity to assess the success of the course and the extent to which it achieved their expectations. Data sets 00055-a and 00055-b provided.
