Learning Continuous Software Engineering through Situated Practice: An Action Research in a Junior Enterprise

This dataset contains the artifacts generated during an Action Research study focused on investigating the impact of adopting Continuous Software Engineering (CSE) practices on the technical and professional development of computer students within a Junior Enterprise. The data is organized to provide transparency regarding the initial diagnosis, the monitoring of interventions, and the results of subsequent analyses. Dataset Content The files are categorized as follows: 1. Collected Data data_from_self-assessment_and_diagnostic_questionnaires: Raw data from questionnaires applied to participants to identify the initial maturity state, cycle monitoring, and perceptions regarding learning in continuous workflows. data_from_repository_and_workflow: Extraction of repository metrics and workflow logs, documenting the technical processes and the evolution of practices during the interventions. data_from_field_diary_and_participant_observation: Longitudinal qualitative records collected via participant observation. It contains notes on team dynamics, sociotechnical obstacles, procedural adaptations, and the researcher's perceptions. 2. Action Research Cycle Analyses 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Analysis of the Continuous Software Engineering research data: Spreadsheets containing the processing, triangulation, and analysis of the data collected to answer the study's Research Questions (RQs). 3. Documentation for Replication action_research_timeline: A detailed timeline that temporally situates each intervention cycle, data collection, and analysis, serving as a methodological guide. compiled_workshops: A document summarizing the educational and technical content of the workshops provided to participants during the intervention stages.
