Transcriptomic analysis of Pinot Noir and Pinot Noir Precoce updated to PN40024.v5 reference datasets

This study revisits the RNA-Seq dataset originally reported by Theine et al. (2021) BMC Plant Biology 21:327 to investigate the molecular mechanisms underlying ripening in two grapevine cultivars, Pinot Noir (PN) and Pinot Noir Précoce (PNP). Leveraging the updated PN40024.v5 reference genome and annotation (https://grapedia.org/genomes), we reanalyzed the transcriptomic data to improve gene mapping accuracy. In addition, we provide updated TPM (Transcripts Per Million) and TPKB files obtained from RNA-Seq analysis using the updated reference genome sequence, enhancing the precision of gene expression quantification across developmental stages.
