Data Liver Metastases From Colorectal Carcinoma: Performance Of Pathological Response Scores

We compared two prognostic scores (Rubbia-Brandt TRG and Blazer score) in assessing neoadjuvant therapy response for colorectal cancer liver metastases (CRCLM). Patients undergoing preoperative chemotherapy followed by LM resection from 2015-2021 were included. Rubbia-Brandt TRG demonstrated higher likelihood ratio (10.95), indicating strong predictive contribution, and a higher AUC (0.8) than the Blazer score, suggesting better survival prediction. Major response (TRG1/TRG2) exhibited superior survival (40.1/41.1 months) compared to partial response (TRG3, 32.1 months) and no response (TRG4/TRG5, 29.9/18.5 months). Survival is better in case of complete or major pathological response.
