资源简介:

CuspyControl-260_UoZ is a synthetic catalogue of 260 mock disc-galaxy rotation curves constructed as a null control for tests of dark-matter core-scaling relations, produced at the University of Zakho. Each mock halo follows a cuspy NFW density profile (median inner logarithmic slope 1.046, consistent with a true cusp at the center) with concentration drawn from a standard mass-concentration relation, stellar mass from an abundance-matching relation, and a stellar half-mass radius from an observed size-mass relation, each with its own realistic scatter. Baryonic components (gas, stellar disc, bulge) are rescaled from a real SPARC galaxy matched in velocity scale, and each mock is sampled at that galaxy's observed radii with its observed velocity uncertainties, so that the catalogue reproduces realistic baryonic structure and observing conditions while containing no dark-matter cores by construction. The deposit includes, for all 260 objects, the generation parameters (halo mass, concentration, stellar and gas mass, half-mass radius), the full synthetic rotation curve (radii, velocities, uncertainties, baryonic contribution), and the fitted structural quantities (core radius, velocity scale, central density, stellar surface density) recovered by the paper's measurement pipeline. The catalogue is intended for reuse as a reproducible zero-core benchmark for testing whether any proposed dark-matter core diagnostic is genuinely sensitive to core physics or is instead an artifact of the fitting procedure applied to it.
