资源简介:
we carried out the present study using a mouse model of chronic restraint stress (CRS) capable of generating a long-term state of depression. We introduced colorectal cancer cells via subcutaneous xenograft and clarified the effect of CRS exposure on tumor growth and metastasis. We explored the link between potential pathophysiological processes of cancer progression (intestinal barrier permeability, neuro- and immune-inflammation) and gut microbiome changes (diversity, compositions, and metabolites). All together, the findings will shed new lights about the role of specific gut microbiome perturbations in colorectal cancer progression promoted by physiological stress.
