Foods for special medical purposes dataset China

Foods for special medical purposes(FSMPs), which were specially processed and formulated to meet the special needs of people with restricted feeding, eating, digestive and absorptive disorders, metabolic disorders, or specific disease states for nutrients or diets.Against this backdrop, China has put in place a rigorous registration-based regulatory framework for FSMPs, mandating mandatory pre-market approval and comprehensive evaluation of all product formulations prior to their commercialization. The objective of this dataset was main focused on expression the complete registration dossiers of 302 FSMPs from October 2017 to January 2026, officially disclosed on the Special Food Information Query Platform of China's State Administration for Market Regulation (SAMR). The nutritional information were systematically presented for 100 kJ, 100g and 100mL. This dataset can be applied as a tool for data-driven insights for type selection and product optimization of FSMPs, aligning with China's updated national standards for precise dietary management, or to assist Chinese consumers in selecting appropriate FSMPs products.
