The transcriptome of adult tarsi from Achelura yunnanensis

This zygaenid moth Achelura yunnanensis is a destructive garden pest as larvae feed on the leaves of the Rosaceae plants, including Photinia glomerata, Chaenomeles sinensis and Cerasus yunnanensis. In this study, we employ the Illumina HiSeq 2000 platform to sequence six tarsal tissues of both sexes. This study aims to characterize tarsus-expressed chemosensory genes and their putative roles in insecticide resistance.
