Climate-fit.city will translate the best available scientific data on urban climate into relevant information for public and private end-users operating in cities across a range of different sectors. Creation: The map is based on the results of VITO’s urban climate model UrbClim’. For the reference period '2000-2017', the model was driven by ECMWF ‘ERA5' data. The future data are generated by applying climate change statistics, based on a large number of GCMs and RCMs, to the reference data.
