Social Media Use in Schizophrenia: Divergence Between Perceived and Objective Social Functioning

This dataset contains the anonymized data supporting the findings of the research article "Social Media Use in Schizophrenia: Divergence Between Perceived and Objective Social Functioning" (currently submitted for publication). Contents: Data from 55 stable outpatients, including: Demographics (Age, Sex, Education) Social Media Usage Patterns Subjective Social Adaptation (SASS) scores Objective Functional Remission (FROGS) scores Clinical Symptoms (SAPS/SANS) To protect participant privacy and comply with ethical regulations regarding clinical data involving vulnerable populations, this dataset is available under restricted access. Version 2 update: Clarifies variable coding for the Social Media variable used in regression analyses. The original dataset remains unchanged (1 = user, 2 = non-user). For interpretability, the manuscript analyses use a derived binary coding (0 = non-user, 1 = user) to align the direction of regression coefficients with descriptive means. Statistical significance and conclusions remain unchanged. A README is included for full details.
