资源简介:
Sites LA 133205, LA 133206, and LA 155234 in northwest New Mexico were tested as
part of the US 64 Data Recovery project. A lithic scatter containing a hearth (LA 13025) was
assigned to the San Rafael Phase (ca. 3500-1800 BC), representing a Middle to Late Archaic
occupation. A multicomponent site (LA 133206) included a prehistoric lithic scatter and two
hearths, as well as a historic artifact scatter and modern corral. Site LA 155234 represents a
Late Archaic lithic scatter with a thermal feature. Pollen and macrofloral samples were
collected from the thermal features and hearths at these three sites to address subsistence
activities.
