Replication package for "Lagged Education Spending and Female Primary-School Access in Low-Income Developing Countries: A Bounded Cross-Country Association"

This replication package accompanies the article "Lagged Education Spending and Female Primary-School Access in Low-Income Developing Countries: A Bounded Cross-Country Association". It contains the data and code required to reproduce the tables, figures, and robustness results reported in the paper. The analysis uses a public country-year panel constructed from World Bank World Development Indicators (WDI) and UNESCO sources. The frozen API snapshot used in the analysis carries the timestamp lastupdated = 2026-03-13. The package includes the processed analysis panel, the ODA API snapshot, the full robustness results matrix, Stata, Python, and R scripts, and pre-generated figures for reference. The central empirical specification is a two-way fixed-effects regression interacting one-year-lagged government education spending with a baseline low-income-country indicator across three female primary-access outcomes. All results are presented as cross-country panel associations; the paper does not claim causal identification. No confidential or restricted data are used. All input data are drawn from publicly available World Bank WDI and UNESCO sources.
