The vegetation inventory data was taken from 313 0.1 ha circular plots that
were measured for vegetative cover and structure by species. The vegetation
plot locations are accurate to within 50 meters. The vascular plants are
present in quadrats, along transects, and in tree stem counts identified to
species with 95% accuracy. The plots are located in Yosemite National Park,
California between 1200 and 3600 meters.
