U.S.D.A. Forest Service, Redwood Sciences Laboratory - LaMNA Point Count

This is a dataset of occurrences of land birds provided by the USDA Forest Service Redwood Sciences Labaratory. It encompasses the point count of LaMNA -- the Landbird Monitoring Network of the Americas. Dedicated as the Redwood Sciences Laboratory 1976, the Pacific Southwest Research Station is a recently renovated three-story laboratory that houses research hydrologists, geologists, wildlife and fisheries biologists, plant ecologists, biometricians, research technicians, and support personnel who are conducting watershed, wildlife, and fisheries research applicable to the Pacific Northwest from Alaska to California. The laboratory is located on the Preston Forest Research Site, a wooded, 3-acre site on the Humboldt State University campus in Arcata, California.
