Video traffic data - Interchange Tychy (1-44), Poland

The data includes video traffic data registered with 8 video cameras at weaving area (weaving section type A) of the Tychy interchange within national road 1 in Poland (interchange of national roads 1 and 44), located in the Silesian Agglomeration. The data covers the two days:13-14.09.2017. The video cameras installed on the roads 1 and 44 (2 cameras) registered vehicles along the entire length of the weaving section. Cameras were mounted on 5-7 meter high masts Collected data include: National road 1 weaving, direction NS: 9:00 – 18:00, location: main road, min 1767 veh/h, max 2540 veh/h, PHV: 11.0 - 20.3% (point no. 2201). National road 1 weaving, direction SN: 9:00 – 19:00, location: main road, min 1582 veh/h, max 2479 veh/h, PHV: 10.3 - 19.3% (point no. 2202). National road 44 weaving, direction EW: 8:00 – 19:00, location: main road, min 608 veh/h, max 929 veh/h, PHV: 9.9 - 20.6% (point no. 2203). This study is part of MOP-DZ research project: RID2B - Modern methods of calculating the road capacity and assessment of traffic conditions of roads outside municipal agglomerations, including expressway roads, financed by the National Centre for Research and Development (Poland) and the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways.
