Draft genome sequence of Flavobacterium psychrophilum strain KKAC-1706. Flavobacterium psychrophilum strain:KKAC-1706

Flavobacterium psychrophilum is the causative agent of bacterial cold-water disease in ayu fish (Plecoglossus altivelis altivelis) in Japan. We isolated three F. psychrophilum strains from dead ayu in May-June 2017 in Kagami River in Kochi Prefecture. We analyzed the whole genome sequences of the three strains, and determined the genotypes by multilocus sequence typing (MLST) which was reported by Fujiwara-Nagata et al. (2013). The obtained draft genome sequences were also annotated and compared with other domestic strains available in GenBank.
