This is a dataset of selectively chosen argumentative texts suitable for exercising argument mapping and logical analysis. The dataset is composed of texts from quality sources that are accessible online, including different editions of Pros and Cons - A Debaters Handbook, Britannicas procon.org, the Room for Debate column from the NYT via I. Habernals ARC task repo, and Debatabase by idebate.net. The dataset is divided into several subsets: arguments-* with one main argument per text, debates-*-handful with 3-5 arguments per text, and debates-*-full with 5+ arguments per text.
