This dataset contains isotopic composition (13C, 15N and 14C), %C and %N of sedimentary organic carbon data collected aboard the R/V Point Sur cruise PS18-25 in the central Gulf of Mexico from 2018-05-18 to 2018-05-23. Data on stable isotopes was acquired with a Costech elemental analyzer coupled to a Thermo Finnegan Delta Xp isotope ratio mass spectrometer. The dataset contains the location, depth, date of the sample collection, isotope ratios and percentages. The cruise documentation was provided for the R/V Point Sur cruise PS18-25, led by chief scientist Dr. Arne Diercks.
