资源简介:
A survey of the use of drugs and attitudes to alcoholism of tertiary students was conducted with students in their first or final year of humanities courses at various Brisbane teaching institutions. Information on frequency of use of all types of drugs and quantity per time of alcohol, caffeine, pain killers, marijuana and tobacco was collected. Attitudes to alcoholism were measured using a scale developed by A. Tolor and J. S. Tamerin (Tolor, A. and Tamerin, J.S. The attitudes towards alcoholism instrument: a measure of attitudes towards alcoholics and the nature and causes of alcoholism. British Journal of Addiction, 1975, 70: 223-231). Background variables included sex, age, course of study, year in tertiary education, religion and religiosity and occupation of head of household.
