The continental-scale survey of changing patterns of Bacillus ecological functions across eastern China with climatic and edaphic gradients

The results of metagenomic sequencing showed that potential ecological functions related to carbon metabolism were overrepresented in Bacillus. We further explored the relationship between actual observed Bacillus cell size and ecological functions using the Akaike information criterion.
