Constant and variable-step spiral dataset for circular pocket milling

This dataset was collected to analyze the performance of machining using a toolpath with a variable-step spiral implemented on a Siemens Sinumerik 840D controller. The primary objective was to maintain a constant spindle load while optimizing cycle time. The data enables comparison of cycle time and mechanical loads against a reference toolpath with a constant-step spiral.
