This dataset comprises plant phenological data and major crop growth stage data collected through long-term fixed-site monitoring by CERN across forest, grassland, desert, marsh, and farmland ecosystems between 2000 and 2020. The dataset includes dedicated data tables for woody plants, herbaceous plants, rice, wheat, and maize. Specifically, the woody plant data table contains 3814 records covering 18 stations and 291 species, with phenological stages including bud burst, leaf expansion, initial flowering, full flowering, fruit or seed maturity, autumn leaf coloration, and leaf abscission. The herbaceous plant data table holds 3032 records from 22 stations and 312 species, involving phenophases such as germination, flowering, fruit/seed maturity, seed dispersal, and senescence. The rice data table includes 551 records from 9 stations, spanning 10 growth stages such as seedling emergence, jointing, and dough maturity. The wheat data table has 382 records for various growth stages across 9 stations, while the maize data table contains 532 records of diverse growth stages from 18 stations.
