Butterflies Australia is a citizen science project that aims to get everybody looking at butterflies and recording their sightings launched in October 2019.
There is a free phone app (iOS and Android) and a website for sending in sightings. The apps also include a free digital field guide, and the website will have a feature that lets you explore the butterfly data in a number of ways on a handy map. Check out the Fact Sheet section for handy information on how to identify butterflies, how to use the apps, and many other things.
