Investigation_of_additional_mutations_associated_with_a_p53_mediated_mouse_model_of_inflammation_associated_colorectal_carcinoma
收藏资源简介:
Human inflammation-associated colorectal cancer is characterised by both early and frequent mutation of p53 and occurs on a background of dysplasia. This is very different to sporadic colorectal cancer, which forms on a background of polyp formation with a strong association with mutation of APC. However, mouse models of inflammation-associated colorectal cancer to date have often used APC mutation instead of p53. We have developed a novel model of inflammation-associated colorectal cancer associated with p53 loss only in the colonic epithelium. These tumours are invasive and are often dysplastic in nature. We wish to characterise the additional mutations observed in these tumours by whole exome sequencing 26 tumours from 13 VilCreERT2p53fl/fl mice.
