SPOT April V4 tag sequences Raw sequence reads

Seawater was collected from 5 m, deep chlorophyll maximum, 150 m and 890 m from the San Pedro Ocean Time-series station. Total RNA was extracted and then reversed transcribed to cDNA. cDNA was PCR amplified 3 different ways, using (1) Stoeck et al. 2010 primers and PCR conditions as stated in Rodriuez-Martinez et al. 2012 (2) Balzano et al. 2015 primers with Balzano et al. PCR conditions, and (3) Stoeck et al. primers with Balzano et al. PCR conditions. The purpose of this study was to compare different protistan-specific primers.
