资源简介:
To elucidate the mechanism behind the therapeutic outcomes in rotator cuff tears (RCTs) and osteoporosis-comorbid RCTs, animal models, ovariectomy (OVX) and rotator cuff tear and repair (RC), were employed to simulate typical tendon-bone healing and tendon-bone interface (TBI) reconstruction under deficient bone-forming capability. At 2 weeks after the RC surgery, female Sprague Dawley rats were euthanized. After exposing the junction of the supraspinatus muscle and the greater tubercle of the humerus, the rotator cuff tendon-bone complex (2.5-3 cm in length), including the head of the humerus and a small portion of the supraspinatus tendon, were collected. Whole transcriptome analysis was conducted.
