资源简介:
This study is about an IoT based Smart Door Security System which uses fingerprint biometric authentication, ESP32 microcontroller and Blynk app to provide secure, user friendly and remote controllable access. It replaces traditional locks, responds in real time to biometric inputs and provides instant feedback through OLED and buzzer signals and remote monitoring and control through mobile app. Performance test showed 1.0 second fingerprint recognition time, 5 seconds door unlock time and instantaneous locking. 15 seconds lockout after 3 failed attempts and real time alerts through Blynk. It was effective in biometric validation but error analysis showed 26.32% False Rejection Rate (FRR) mostly due to user related issues (65.79%) such as incorrect finger placement. FAR was low at 1.32% indicating strong resistance to unauthorized access. It can store up to 3 fingerprints, provide visual and auditory alerts and remote access control. This smart lock system is a reliable and scalable solution for homes, offices and sensitive areas. The integration of IoT and biometric technology not only enhances physical security but also convenience, a modern solution for smart home automation.
