table 1:This dataset contains a carefully selected sample of 3,343 M giant stars used to investigate Galactic substructures. The parent sample originates from Li et al. (2023), who identified 58,076 M giants based on low-resolution spectra from LAMOST DR9, with radial velocities. Distances for the stars are from Qiu et al. (2023). Proper motions are adopted from Gaia DR3. Chemical abundances ([M/H] and [α/M]) for a subset of the sample were obtained through cross-matching with APOGEE DR17.The final dataset includes stars satisfying the following criteria:∣Zgc∣>2 kpc,Total velocity Vtot<400km s−1,Velocity component uncertainties σU,σV,σW<100km s−1.Each row in the dataset corresponds to one M giant star and includes the following parameters:LAMOST_obsid: obsid fromLAMOSTDR9Gaia_source_id: source_id from Gaia DR3APOGEE_ID: ID from APOGEE DR17Right Ascension (R.A.) and Declination (Dec.),Heliocentric distance (in kpc),Radial velocity (in km s−1),Proper motions in mas yr−1,Chemical abundances: [M/H]and [α/M].The data file is in CSV format, containing 3343 rows and multiple columns corresponding to the parameters listed above.
