Black Bear Management Units in Florida

A bear management unit (BMU) is a geographic location bounded by county and/or state borders with one of the seven Florida black bear subpopulations within it. The goal of a BMU is to provide a defined area within which FWC can have a community-focused effort to effectively manage and conserve Florida black bears.熊管理单元（Bear Management Unit，BMU）是一类以县界或州界作为边界的地理区域，其内部涵盖7个佛罗里达黑熊亚种群中的一个。设立该管理单元的核心目标是划定明确范围，以便佛罗里达鱼类与野生动物委员会（Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission，FWC）能够开展以社区为导向的管护工作，实现佛罗里达黑熊的有效管理与种群保护。
