This repository contains the processed data and analysis scripts for the study “Instantaneous and Cumulative Knee Joint Loading in Cycling With and Without Medial Knee Osteoarthritis”. The study investigated knee joint loading in 56 recreational cyclists (19 KOA, 19 older controls, 18 young controls) across nine cadence × power conditions. Instantaneous loading was quantified via peak knee adduction, flexion, and extension moments, while cumulative loading was calculated using a fatigue-weighted cumulative load (wCKL) model. Mixed-effects linear models were used to identify the primary mechanical determinants (crank torque, cadence, power) of per-cycle and cumulative loading. This repository includes: Processed datasets (anonymized, subject-level and condition-level summaries). Analysis scripts (Python; used to reproduce statistical models, tables, and figures in the manuscript). Documentation (README and metadata explaining dataset structure and variables). Raw biomechanical data (marker trajectories, ground reaction forces, raw pedal forces) are not publicly shared due to ethical restrictions but are available upon reasonable request.
