Tree Inventory Point

In January of 2018, Charlottesville Parks & Recreation initiated a project with the goal of creating an inventory of all the trees that exist on public property within the City of Charlottesville. The foundation of the inventory is a GPS field survey conducted in 2008 of all the existing trees at that time. This 2008 survey recorded the coordinates and several other attributes of Individual trees located in parks, schools, and right-of-ways.2018年1月，夏洛茨维尔市（Charlottesville）公园与休闲管理部门启动一项项目，旨在建立该市公共用地范围内所有现存树木的普查档案。该档案的核心基础为2008年开展的一次针对彼时所有现存树木的GPS野外勘测（GPS field survey）。此次2008年的勘测记录了分布于公园、学校及市政道路用地内的单棵树木的坐标与其他多项属性信息。
