Data set of CeO2-Co3O4 catalyst prepared by flame spray pyrolysis

The data set is related to the synthesis of CeO2-Co3O4 catalyst by flame spray pyrolysis and its catalytic oxidation performance of ethane. Ce5Co95 catalyst was successfully prepared by flame spray pyrolysis using 2-Ethylhexanoic acid (2-EHA) as an organic ligand. The effect of adding 2-EHA to the precursor solvent on the catalytic oxidation performance of the catalyst for ethane was systematically studied. The physicochemical properties of the catalysts were characterized by XRD, BET, Raman, HRTEM, XPS, H2-TPR, O2-TPD and EPR, and they were effectively correlated with the catalytic performance. In addition, the ethane oxidation mechanism on the catalyst surface was analyzed by in situ diffuse reflectance Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (In situ DRIFTs).
