Lilium leichtlinii whole genome sequencing

This study aims to investigate the whole genomes of three Lilium leichtlinii groups: one Korean KN and two Japanese groups short and broad-leaved and tall JB and narrow-leaved JN. The whole genomes of these three groups were sequenced, from which the chloroplast (cp) genome sequencing data were assembled and used for annotation. These findings will give more insights into the significant evolutionary changes of the Japanese and Korean group Lilium leichtlinii and elucidate the phylogenetic relationship between these groups.
