资源简介:

This record contains the output from the MISOMIP OceanA-hind experiment performed with the ROMSIceShelf ocean-ice shelf model configuration (Galton-Fenzi et al., 2024), developed and run at University of Tasmania (UTAS) and Australian Antarctic Division (AAD). The simulation covers the MISOMIP2 Amundsen Sea domain, with an approximate 2km spatial resolution and 31 vertical layers employing a terrain-following vertical coordinate. Bathymetry is sourced from BedMachine v3 (Morlighem et al., 2017). Ice-ocean thermodynamics uses the three-equation parameterisation (Holland & Jenkins, 1999), implemented following Dinniman et al., (2003) and Galton-Fenzi et al., (2012), with vertical mixing captured by the K-Profile Parameterisation (Large, McWilliam and Doney, 1994). The model uses ERA-5 atmospheric forcing (winds), ECCO2 lateral currents, temperature and salinity forcing (Menemenlis et al., 2008), and prescribed sea ice fluxes (Tamura et al., 2012; Nihashi et al., 2015). Subglacial drainage is added as river fluxes with zero salinity at the pressure melting point, and is calculated by the Glacier Drainage System (Werder et al., 2013) following Gladstone et al., (in prep). Tides are prescribed with 10-harmonic (CATS2008) free surface modulation on the lateral boundaries. OceanA-hind outputs are monthly mean outputs in `Oce3d`, `OceSec*` and `OceMoor*` files, calculated by the misomip2 github repository. Dataset takes approximately 16 hours to load and process the raw data, and 32 hours to make the output files (on 1 processor), with a maximum memory use of 500GB.
