These typescript circulars were issued by the Locomotive Workshops Manager, Eveleigh. Their purpose was to give instructions to staff concerning routine operational matters. They include subjects such as provision of work clothing, overtime, and leave of absence, and issues relating to safety and general working conditions. The whereabouts of the items of this series after 1983 is unknown. The controlling series suggests that the series continued to be created until at least 1988.In index to the series covering the period 1977- 1988 survives.
