Dataset for "Characteristics of the Fluorescence of Water-Soluble Organic Matter in Forest, Remote, and Urban Aerosols in Japan, Atmos. Environ."
收藏资源简介:
This dataset is for “Characteristics of the Fluorescence of Water-Soluble Organic Matter in Forest, Remote, and Urban Aerosols in Japan” by Wei et al. in Atmospheric Environment. The contents are described in the sheet “Readme” of the Excel file named “Dataset_cw260904.xlsx”. The dataset contains the data used in the manuscript, including average fluorescence spectra, fluorescence indices, atmospheric fluorescence volumes, normalized fluorescence volumes, and PARAFAC components of water-soluble organic matter (WSOM) in atmospheric aerosol samples collected at forest, remote, and urban sites in Japan. The dataset also includes the correlations of the atmospheric fluorescence volumes of the PARAFAC components with the concentrations of water-soluble organic carbon (WSOC) and meteorological parameters. The dataset further provides fluorescence indices and atmospheric fluorescence volumes for three subfractions of WSOM obtained from aerosol and rainwater samples collected in Nagoya. The excitation-emission matrix (EEM) spectra of WSOM in aqueous extracts were measured using a fluorescence spectrophotometer (FP-6600, JASCO) with a 1-cm path length quartz cell. The ranges of the excitation and emission wavelengths were 235-500 nm and 300-600 nm, respectively. The drEEM toolbox for MATLAB was used to preprocess the EEMs and to perform parallel factor (PARAFAC) analysis. The concentrations of WSOC and water-soluble inorganic ions were measured using a total organic carbon analyzer and ion chromatography, respectively. The dataset was obtained in the study conducted under JSPS KAKENHI (JP26281007, JP23H00515, and JP19KK0265); ArCS II (JPMXD1420318865); and ERDF from ERCA (JPMEERF20232001). Other acknowledgments are provided in the associated manuscript.
