资源简介:
Crassvirales phages are a highly abundant order that are capable of persisting with their Bacteroidetes hosts in the human gut. A recent cryogenic electron microscopy (cryo-EM) reconstruction of Crassvirales phage Kehishuvirus primarius (CrAss001) allowed atomic models to be built for the majority of proteins involved in virion structure, assembly and infection. While the tailspikes (TSP)/tail fibres (TF) were thought to be composed of five proteins, these structures remained unmodelled, due to their flexibility. Here, we present the predicted structures of Crassvirales phages crAss001 and DAC15 fibres and their interactions.
