Data for "Evaluating Sentinel-2 and PlanetScope Imagery for Detecting Ice Phenology in Alaskan Lakes and Ponds"

This dataset contains output time series of ice cover across three study sites in Alaska-- the North Slope, Yukon-Kuskokwim Delta, and Yukon Flats. Time series are broken down by satellite mission, as this data was created to compare PlanetScope and Sentinel-2 imagery for the paper "Evaluating Sentinel-2 and PlanetScope Imagery for Detecting Ice Phenology in Alaskan Lakes and Ponds". Included alongside the time series are cloud accuracy metrics and manually validated ice phenology accuracy metrics, which are discussed in detail in the corresponding paper.
