Attitude of the population to current political topics. Judgement on
parties and politicians at state and federal level.
Topics: judgement on the economic situation as well as the economic
development of the FRG and the state Rhineland-Palatinate; expected
development of personal standard of living; political interest and
extent to which informed politically; most important task of the FRG as
well as of the state Rhineland-Palatinate; preferred prime minister;
degree of familiarity of selected state politicians; advantages and
disadvantages of Bernhard Vogel and Klaus v. Dohnany; satisfaction with
government and opposition in Rhineland-Palatinate; classification of
the relevance of political issues; issue ability of the parties;
assumed election result of the next state parliament election;
certainty of one´s voting decision; detailed determination of party
preference by means of different question formulations (among others
ballot procedure and Sunday question); self-assessment on a left-right
continuum as well as classification of the parties and prime minister
candidates on a 20-level left-right continuum; agreement with
