National submerged plant communities in China (2013–2018) contain a total of 5209 records, including community name, community ID, recorder, survey date, quadrat area, sampling location, northing coordinate (N) of the survey quadrat point, easting coordinate (E) of the survey quadrat point, elevation, water quality indicators (pH, conductivity, turbidity, dissolved oxygen, water temperature, salinity, water depth, notes), dominant species, main accompanying species, plant species name, plant height, number of individuals, coverage and other related information.
